WINTER 2007 UPDATE 11/14/2007 Helloo River CIty supporters - Well, here we are in our final winter without a park. With the award of $90,000 from Department of Neighborhoods, we can finally start construction. The last step before then, however is permitting. We are in the middle of our SEPA review and submitting for our other permits in the next month. We should have approval to begin work by February or March. Grindline is assembling the best possible construction team - from design to finishers and we will have the best park in Seattle. One of the benefits of the amount of time it has taken to raise the funds is that Grindline can spend more time with the design, refining it until it is really strong.
